Young Hellboy: Champion Of The Beyond!

Here's a warm up sketch inspired by a recent conversation I had with someone. Young Hellboy as a Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon type, something he might dream about. This was pretty fun to do. It's rough as all hell, but hey,it's just a warm up sketch.

Pulp Hero

I love the old sci-fi serials...and WW I & II films...and tales of knights and dragons and damsels in distress. This fella was the result of mixing those elements up. Crossing a WWII pilot and a knight and having this hero battle diabolical forces throughout alternate uiniverses. Fun, older piece. The slingshot was just a dash o' whimsy...

Jerk

One of the bullies that makes Spaulding's life not so much hell but rather adventurous...his shirt is my no to one of screendom's greatest villains, "Spike" from Toy Story.
